ZURICH - THE LOST SENSE EXPERIENCE
Hard Facts:
What will eventually look like a simple lemon here starts out as anything but simple. For our mural in Zurich, the lemons weren’t just painted—they were built.
In a large workshop, hand-shaped 3D objects were created from rough blocks, gradually taking on their organic form. Milling, sanding, and sculpting continued until the surface achieved exactly the imperfect perfection that defines a real lemon. Then, finally, color came into play: a rich, vibrant yellow that not only pops but also gives the object depth.
The goal was clear: not a flat illusion, but a genuine tactile experience.
An element conceived as an extension of the wall—long before it was even installed on the façade.

In the heart of Sonnenallee in Berlin-Neukölln, this idea becomes a striking statement in the urban landscape.
Two lemons, wrapped in plastic, installed against a vivid blue background.
The magic lies in the details: The fruits not only look realistic, but their physical depth adds a whole new dimension to the scene. The mural breaks free from the flat surface and suddenly takes on a sense of depth.
Complemented by the installation surrounding “The Lost Sense Experience,” the mural becomes more than just a picture.
It becomes part of a larger moment in public space—amidst everyday life, traffic, and brief stops that suddenly last longer than planned.
