THE MASKED DANCER
In our line of work, the few positive crazies who have made it their goal to decorate the world's subway systems with their letters are known for delivering top performances completely masked. Unlike the celebrities of the cult ProSieben TV show “The Masked Singer” and its successor “The Masked Dancer”, however, they are not interested in having their identity guessed by an audience of millions. To draw attention to the latest version of the popular evening entertainment, in which show business personalities compete against each other in a dance competition in magnificent handmade costumes, there was no way around a hand-painted CONCRETE CANDY mural.
“Which star is dancing under the mask?” is the motto of the show. And since dance and movement are an essential part of this, we also made our OOH lighthouse in Cologne-Ehrenfeld dance thanks to SPARK AR. With the augmented reality lens on Instagram and facebook, our mural was recognized and the Masked Dancer Studio was brought into the real world. As the key visual was also used on all CLP's and full columns, the function could also be used on each of these surfaces.
