Beloved by many and eagerly anticipated—Spotify’s Year in Review. Right in the middle of Venloer Straße in Cologne, Spotify Wrapped 2025 suddenly became impossible to miss. Amid the everyday life of Ehrenfeld, street traffic, and passersby, the massive facade transformed into an oversized playlist of podcasts, streaming stats, and pop culture.
Whether it was “Hobbylos” or the typical Wrapped visuals—the artwork functioned like a gigantic screenshot right above the listeners’ heads. Already impossible to ignore during the day, it was completely next-level at night!
Before the final artwork took over the street, it all started with meticulous preparatory work. Color tests, outlines, layout adjustments, and massive typography were applied directly to the wall, piece by piece, in just a few days.
Amid countless paint rollers, brushes, and scaffolding, a mural emerged that translated Spotify’s digital aesthetic into real-world craftsmanship. Everything was painted by hand, and thanks to our artists’ decades of experience, it’s impossible to ignore!
In Berlin, too, Spotify Wrapped 2025 was brought right out onto the streets—this time featuring several large-scale portraits of the biggest stars of the German music scene. Amidst the traffic, concert posters, and typical Berlin urban chaos, the mural blended seamlessly into its surroundings, looking almost like a natural part of the city. Already loud and prominent during the day, and at night with trails of light, neon vibes, and passing cars, it had arrived exactly where Spotify Wrapped belongs: at the heart of the German music scene.
