Fun fact: Space is better explored than our deep sea. Many legends therefore surround giant octopuses that lurk in the dark depths of our oceans and eat whales for breakfast.

So it's no wonder that Kraken Rum teamed up with CONCRETE CANDY to install an equally legendary and impressive out-of-home special in Cologne for its “Black Spiced” to shed some light on the subject. And we completely succeeded! In the middle of Ehrenfeld, on the popular Venloer Straße, we created a furious mix of #handpainted mural and illuminated 3D elements. The highlight here was that we ventured beyond the boundaries of the façade and individual elements of the mural rose above the gable into the sky.

In the darkness, the glowing parts attracted everyone's attention and made the mural visible from afar.
