G-SHOCK x MISTER DARDY
Dardan grew up in a less colorful apartment block in Stuttgart & has made a name for himself in the German rap scene in recent years with a lot of ambition and self-confidence. Instead of the Rolex so popular with German rappers, however, watch manufacturer CASIO has now chosen Dardan to market a limited edition of the world-famous “G-SHOCK”. To bring the campaign to the big screen, we have once again given our iconic and highly frequented LUX Club in Berlin-Kreuzberg a new look. The artwork is particularly striking due to the photorealistically painted face of the rapper. It also comes with a 3D MURAL element, which definitely attracts attention. Because instead of painting the new G-SHOCK photorealistically on the wall, we have simply recreated it in 50x magnification and equipped it with a fully functional 1.5 m clockwork, whose hands and numerals - like the original - glow in the dark thanks to the use of UV paint and our special UV lamps.

Of course, Dardan didn't miss the opportunity to experience the mural live and in color and came to Kreuzberg immediately after completion. He shared the result directly with his Instagram community and gave the first onlooking fans tickets for his Berlin gig that evening!
