SPARKASSE - SCHADE FASSADE
Hard Facts:
In Cologne and Leverkusen, slightly dilapidated building facades were transformed into eye-catching campaign spaces. Using a lift, stencils, and clean typography, the slogans were applied precisely to the facades. The focus was less on traditional design and more on impact: large headlines, minimalist design, and maximum readability from a distance.
Even during the creation process, it becomes clear what matters most: quick comprehension, clear messages, and placement right where people pass by every day.

The finished murals get right to the point: “Strikingly dilapidated,” “A shame about the facade,” or “Cold outside, expensive inside?”—phrases that stick in your mind immediately because they address real-life situations.
What makes this project unique is that the existing facades become part of the concept. Cracks, textures, and signs of wear are intentionally incorporated to visually reinforce the message. The result is not a traditional advertising space, but a direct connection between the location and the content.
