Artwork Development

It all began with the challenge of visually uniting two worlds: the iconic Rolex aesthetic and the raw dynamism of SailGP races.
During the concept phase, the visual composition, color schemes, and motifs were meticulously coordinated—from the Yacht-Master as the central element to the intense racing scenes on the water.

The result is a clear, powerful visual language that conveys both technical perfection and maximum movement.

From wall to landmark

The mural was created at one of Hamburg’s most prominent locations—right next to the Elbe bridges, where foot traffic is heavy and visibility is at its highest.

Step by step, with incredible attention to detail, a visual interplay emerged on the massive wall, combining a photorealistic depiction of the iconic Rolex with a vibrant mix of dynamic SailGP motifs.
Layer by layer, the artwork was sprayed, painted, and refined—from large-scale compositions down to the finest details, such as reflections, typography, and branding.

Final Impact

The finished mural showcases an incredible blend of precision, performance, and scale.
The combination of clear composition, strong contrasts, and iconic motifs ensures maximum visual impact—both from a distance and up close.

Whether viewed from the street, from the water, or from the air:
The artwork works on every level and brings the energy of Rolex SailGP directly into the urban space.

We reach for the Crown.
