In the heart of Munich city centre, directly on Max-Joseph-Platz between the Residenz and the opera house, CONCRETE CANDY has transformed a construction fence into a remarkable stage. For the Netflix film ‘Brick’, an extraordinary installation was created that goes far beyond classic poster advertising: hand-painted scenes and characters that appear to break through the wall.
The implementation combines 3D illusion, painting and spatial staging – a special technique that makes the construction fence itself part of the story. Broken edges, layers of material and the play of light create the impression of a real breakthrough and allow a view of scenes and actors from the NETFLIX blockbuster.
Thus, an everyday construction site barrier became a cinematic statement in public space – spectacular, immersive and right in the heart of Munich.
